In compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), the Kern Subbasin has developed a new Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP). To ensure the plan meets the needs of all stakeholders in the basin, Kern Subbasin representatives will be holding three meetings on October 3, 2024, for public participation at the following locations:

• North Subbasin – Mouser Center (In-Person Only)
  100 2nd St, McFarland, CA , 10am – 12pm
   
• Central Subbasin – Kern County Water Agency (In-Person and Virtual),
  3200 Rio Mirada Dr, Bakersfield, CA, 2pm – 4pm

Representatives for the Kern Subbasin will present key points of the plan and will be available for questions and feedback at these meetings. Spanish translation will be provided at each meeting and flyers for the meetings are attached to this email in both English and Spanish.
